Wunderbar! I'll will be not pencilling that in in the not-so-undistant future.

The best thing about Long Sunday? The angst-ridden, Cartier-Bresson-like photos on the banner. A photo is generally more meaningful than some page of postmod rhetoric; a picture of a concentration camp more effective than any Adorno essay........

Sorry, I was out of town for a bit there... can you give me a day to contribute? Thanks :)

If no one minds, kenneth could share Sunday with me?

Posted by: Alain | Nov 21, 2005 3:05:21 PM

If both of you promise not to say everything.

I won't even use the word ("everything").

Someone will need to post it for me (volunteers?) or extend my author status.

Well, ok.

you will discuss crime perhaps? felonies? great outlaws and deviants, gangsters, mobsters, prostitutes, bunko-bilko guys......

"there is an outlaw-beat strain in the writing of that miserable but semi-talented wretch foucault (as there was in sartre) which did correctly see history as not only great events, great men, militarism, politics etc., but as bric a brac, small men, creeps, criminals, thieves, deviants, etc. You and your cronies overlook that anarchistic yet authentic strain of leftism, and in fact it is incorrectly lumped with "queer" theory by the usual stoopid cunts and marxist-aesthetes, but it's really not about that, per se; it's about violence and struggle and marginalization and oppression of all types--statist, capitalist, theist, sexist, cuntist."

Fine by me. NB I don't know if you want these posts to go to LS or (in my case) PM. Anyhow, you can email to discuss technical details where relevant.
