Ah you didn't hear: the Laughing Medusa sold out, like, centuries ago. She now works for the Rothschilds, Inc.

Actually the linked site features some interesting manga here and there, which even non-partay members might find useful, like
this essay:
"""".......Nor does Chomsky challenge the fundamental philosophical premises of today’s dominant class. On the contrary, he is the most consistent, dogmatic and unreconstructed Cartesian since Descartes himself. Descartes proclaimed: ‘I think, therefore I am!’ No other writer can compete with Chomsky in celebrating and consolidating the premises of bourgeois individualism in philosophy and science. But whereas Descartes also contributed enormously to empirical research, Chomsky relies essentially on private intuition. It is no exaggeration to say that he is against empirical linguistic research. He dismisses it because, he says, it can only be relevant to external performance – which is of little interest to him..... .""""""
That points to some rather key points: one, the contemporary left's disavowal of empirical research and methodology in favor of a sort of ersatz Cartesianism (we would assert that many (not all) postmods do this as well).
Does the Noamster himself work for the Rothschilds? Tal vez

Just to be clear: the link is actually to another link, which is where all the free books are. In case that wasn't glaringly obvious.

Ah you mean the Agamben stuff on "life as a catholic tick" or whatevah? Long Sunday readers might do better with Chris Knight's insightful commentary on Chomsky --dare we say, secular and __________ materialist commentary. (jus' delete it Chairman Matt) .
(Maybe there's some cool cutting edge St. Augustine or Aquinas essays tooo, somewhere)

So the link to the Readings book wasn't intentional? It's a shame, really, because Julian Wolfreys is one of my former professors. I wanted to see some conversation emerge out of the Readings book.

No, the Wolfreys link was absolutely heart-felt, too. A provocative encounter with Foucault, bibliophilia/mania in various forms, and more.
I thought of it while downloading 18 or so free books.
