Though without delusion, Long Sunday salutes Michelle Bachelet, new President of Chile. The Narcosphere is strangely silent; The Nation and The BBC are positively gushing. There's a profile at OpenDemocracy. Could this be the beginning of a trend, of center-left female "socialists" being elected? Just saying, we could certainly do worse.
